Our plant is equipped with advanced pelletization machinery, vertical ring-die mills, automated conveyors, quality monitoring systems, and controlled drying units. This enables us to maintain uniform pellet density, optimized calorific value, and stable combustion characteristics suitable for industrial co-firing.
Mauda Biomass Pellet Plant
The Mauda pilot project serves as a FDI-driven model facility for biomass collection, pelletization, and clean energy supply. Located in the heart of industrial Nagpur, Mahrasthra, it is close proximity to major bio-residues. For example, local sugarcane mills generate bagasse during crushing season, cotton growers produce stalk residue, and neighbouring rice mills generate several tonnes of rice husks
Land Area
- 20,000 sqft godown strategically divided into Shed 1 (Production area) and Shed 2 (Finished goods area).
- Additional 10,000 sqft outdoor yard space for efficient truck movement.
Key Equipment
- 160kW vertical ring-die pellet mill machine, 132kW hammer mill, 3x 15 feet 3HP conveyer belts (cooling), 100T weighbridge, and 35 feet ramp
- Integrated PLC controls & Electrical control cabinets
High-Performance Pellet Production at Mauda
We work directly with farmers, agri-processors, and local supply partners to source biomass residues responsibly and at scale. This approach not only prevents open-field burning but also creates rural employment and ensures consistent raw material availability throughout the year.
A skilled team of engineers, quality analysts, and biomass specialists oversee every stage of production — from raw material evaluation to moisture control, grinding, densification, and final quality testing. Their expertise ensures that each pellet batch meets performance and sustainability standards.
Different power plants and industrial boilers require distinct combustion parameters. We manufacture custom pellet blends tailored to individual co-firing requirements — optimizing ash content, calorific value, size, and burning behavior for maximum efficiency and lower emissions.
About Our Pellets
At Mama Bioresources, our pellets are produced ecofriendly with a sustainable manufacturing process.
Biomass energy is carbon neutral, therefore, the next
Cycle of Plant’s generation removes as much CO2, as is
emitted into the atmosphere from the combustion of
biomass pellets. This creates a closed-loop system and
prevents air pollution.
- Partnering with various farmers from major agrarian regions, to diversify raw material procurement.
- Process several types of bio-residues such as: Rice husk, soya hull, bamboo bagasse, cotton stalk, saw dust, and more.
- With in-house engineers and bio-processing experts, we can tailor produce pellets according to co-firing requirements.
- Bridging our sourcing and processing expertise, we are able to create blends that maximises GCV and minimizes the moisture and ash content.
